Information, not a prescription

Read this as information, not instructions. WorkingMomRx is educational and never a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a reason to start or stop a medication. A GLP-1 is a clinical decision — run it past a licensed clinician who knows your history before you act on anything here.

Everything on WorkingMomRx exists to help you decide faster and better — which provider, what it costs, how quickly you can start. It is educational only. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or advice to begin or end any medication. Your history and your goals are yours alone, and only a licensed clinician who reviews them can tell you what's right.

Three things worth flagging before you start

  • GLP-1 medicines are not appropriate during pregnancy or while trying to conceive — guidance commonly advises stopping well before a planned pregnancy.
  • Because they slow the gut, they can change how quickly some oral medications absorb, including certain birth-control pills — ask your clinician how to time things.
  • Compounded GLP-1 medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products, and side effects and dosing need real clinical oversight.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning a pregnancy, or managing another condition, take this to your own clinician before acting on anything you read here. For how we make money and how it does (and doesn't) affect our rankings, see the disclosure.
