CoreAge Rx vs Hims & Hers
CoreAge Rx and Hims & Hers both offer GLP-1 telehealth, but they make different trade-offs on speed to first dose, flat pricing, access and molecule choice. Here they are side-by-side on the Rx-Readiness Score — our readiness rubric.
CoreAge Rx
Higher scoreRanked #1 · Grade A
Best for: Working moms who want a decision, not a research project — flat pricing, both semaglutide and tirzepatide, and no scheduled video visit to book around work and pickup.

Ranked #43 · Grade C
Best for: A mother who specifically wants FDA-approved brand medication with the manufacturer's own labeling, and who has done the arithmetic on a $149 monthly membership sitting on top of the drug price.
Visit Hims & HersThe verdict
CoreAge Rx edges out Hims & Hers on the Rx-Readiness Score, 95 to 69 (A vs C). Working moms who want a decision, not a research project — flat pricing, both semaglutide and tirzepatide, and no scheduled video visit to book around work and pickup.
Hims & Hers is still a genuine option — the posted price is half the bill, and the site says so itself. Read live on 26 August 2026, the weight-loss catalog is ten FDA-approved brand listings — Wegovy as a pill and a pen, Zepbound as a vial and a KwikPen, Ozempic in both forms, Mounjaro, and two new oral tablets in the Ozempic Pill and Foundayo — and every single one carries the same footnote: the figure covers medication only, and a membership at $39 for the first month then $149 a month is required and billed separately. So the $149 Wegovy Pill is really about $298 a month and the $299 Zepbound vial is about $448. That membership is not nothing — 24/7 messaging with licensed providers, monthly care-team follow-ups, a smart scale and named in-house clinicians — but it is $1,788 a year on top of the drug. One oddity to open before you buy: Mounjaro and one of two Zepbound listings are posted at a flat $1,899 a month on the same page as Zepbound vials at $299, and nothing explains the gap. Its FAQ asks whether video visits are required and whether all states are served, but keeps both answers inside collapsed panels, so neither could be verified. It carries two FDA warning letters dated 9 September 2025 over the compounded-semaglutide business it has since left behind entirely. Weigh the six readiness factors below against your own priorities.

CoreAge Rx
Ranked #1 · Grade A
What we like
- Flat monthly price that stays put through titration — no dose-scaling surprise on your busiest month
- Both compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide on one plan, so you're not re-signing to switch
- Async, no-video intake and all-50-states coverage — start it during a lunch break
The caveats
- Not the rock-bottom sticker price — a couple of teaser tiers elsewhere start lower
- Compounded only — no FDA-approved brand option
- General metabolic program, not a boutique concierge service
Hims & Hers
Ranked #43 · Grade C
What we like
- Entirely FDA-approved brand product now — Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic, Mounjaro and the new Foundayo tablet, not compounded
- Two oral routes that are FDA-approved rather than compounded: the Wegovy Pill and the new Ozempic Pill, both posted at from $149 a month
- Every price is visible on one open page before you enter anything, each tagged "Membership required" so the structure is not hidden
The caveats
- Every posted price is medication only: a required $149/month membership is billed separately, which roughly doubles the real cost
- The $39 first month auto-renews at $149, so the number you sign up at is not the number you keep paying
- Mounjaro and one of two Zepbound listings are posted at $1,899 a month on the same page as Zepbound vials at $299, with no explanation of the difference
